The Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) are the national body for careers education in England, supporting schools and colleges to deliver modern, 21st century careers education.
The CEC’s mission is to help every young person find their best next step, working at national scale and delivered through the network of Careers Hubs.
The Careers Hub
The Leicester and Leicestershire Careers Hub is one of 43 hubs across England and is a partnership between The Careers and Enterprise Company and the Leicester and Leicestershire Business and Skills Partnership. The Careers Hub brings together over 90 schools, special schools, colleges, and alternative provisions, alongside employers and other partners.
Careers Hubs are key to the Government’s aims to improve careers education, ensuring all young people have a consistent and high quality careers programme through their education institute.
Careers Hubs drive progress against the Gatsby Benchmarks by enabling schools and colleges and their Careers Leaders to access training and support, and to collaborate in a focussed way, bringing together best practice and local labour market insight.
