LLBSP Hosts Successful Industrial Strategy Consultation Event at the 2024 Leicester Business Festival.
On Tuesday, 5th November, the Leicester and Leicestershire Business and Skills Partnership (LLBSP) hosted a interactive Industrial Strategy Consultation event at Leicester Space City, as part of this year’s tenth annual Leicester Business Festival. Local business leaders, education providers, and key stakeholders gathered to share their insights and priorities, shaping the region’s contribution to the UK’s Industrial Strategy.
The event fostered lively discussions on topics critical to the local economy, including key sectors for growth, workforce skills, infrastructure needs, innovation, and international opportunities. Attendees provided valuable input that will help guide LLBSP in crafting a response that reflects Leicester and Leicestershire’s strengths and aligns with the national goals.
