Creative companies invited to sign up for free webinar

Creative businesses can gain advice on protecting their brands and products by registering for a free webinar.

The session will be hosted by the Intellectual Property Office to help and guide local businesses.

Every business owns intellectual property, whether it be the name it trades under, the look or the function of products it makes or uses, or the brochures used to promote company and services. 

The upcoming webinar – Unlocking Creativity: Intellectual Property for Creative Industry Businesses – will dive into the world of IP protection and is tailored specifically for the creative industry.

Topics covered will include trademarks (such as brand names and logos), copyrights (for creative works, patents (in relation to inventions), and trade secrets for confidential information.

Attendees will also hear from expert speakers, learn from case studies, take part in a Q&A, and access IPO resources to boost their knowledge.

The webinar is held in partnership between the Business Gateway Growth Hub, the East Midlands Creative Consortium (EMC2), and the LLEP.

It takes place on Monday October 2, between 10am and 12noon.
